Hey, guys! As you can see from the post title above, I’m going to be talking about positive body image and why it’s so important now.
Recently, Cassey Ho (aka. Blogilates) asked on Instagram: What is positive body image to you? Honestly, there are so many answers, but I put down:
“Positive body image to me is loving your body no matter how fat or thin you are and not letting people put you down just because of your. body Not everybody’s perfect or the same.” While I haven’t been bullied because I’m overweight and because I’m homeschooled, I know a lot of kids are at school. And if you are somebody who is being bullied because of your body, know that I am always here on WordPress, ready to lend a helping ear if you need it. I know how you feel, because I have been through this stage and have hated my body, that is, until I found Blogilates and BTS. Blogilates is Cassey Ho and she has a Youtube Channel that has workout videos for every single part of your body. Not only that, but she has a positive body image and encourages you to love your body instead of hating it. She says, “When you refocus your energy from negativity to positivity, you’ll see a lot better results-” and listen to this part, “Everything starts from the inside.” If you don’t love yourself, then how can you love others? And that is where BTS comes in. I actually found BTS through KHS, Kurt Hugo Schnieder, (I don’t know how to spell his last name and I’m too lazy to look it up) through a cover of Idol by Sam Tsui and Megan Lee. And as some of you may know, I was absolutely CRAZY about Sam Tsui a few months ago.
Until I found BTS. Now I’m a complete ARMY fan! BTS has influenced my life, as well as many other ARMIES’. They taught me how to love myself, and I recently wrote RM a letter, telling him how much I love them and how their message of loving yourself influenced me, but I haven’t got a reply yet. My mom’s like, “They have thousands of fans; it’s probably going to take a while for it come.” Yeah, I guess she’s right. As long as they get to read it, I’m fine with that. I hope you have come to love yourself and your body, and if you have any questions on how to love yourself, please feel free to ask in the comments below! I love you all so much, and I will see you in the next post! Bye!
